Hardware setup

Install the OfficeJet hardware according to the instructions. Essentially, you

  1. Remove adhesive strips from the device's front to lift the top section (including the panel) and to free the paper tray of its cardboard protection
  2. Remove more packaging material from the inside and close the top section
  3. Remove adhesive strips and cardboard at the back
  4. Remove adhesive strips from the duplex unit and from the device's back
  5. Install the duplex unit into the OfficeJet's back
  6. Connect the power and push the power switch
  7. Set initial options via the panel - watch the display for instructions from now on
  8. Lift the top section
  9. Lift the gray lever, insert the print head and close the gray lever
  10. Install the ink cartridges
  11. Insert paper and let the machine work
  12. Connect the fax cable
